From Brokenness to Healing

I never found any solace or security at home. As young as 9 years old, my relationship with my dad had been distant especially after he left the family for 3 months due to gambling debts. Witnessing my mum crying almost daily left a permanent scar in me.

Grace in the Shadows

My mum and I had a very close relationship. During the year when my mum fought against cancer, I was beside her everyday, 24/7. I lost my mum to cancer on the day that my firstborn turned 4-month-old.

Initiative Evangelism

Before 2020, WOW MOM used to host physical meetings for Mother’s Day Celebrations. Our purpose was to share the Gospel to our mommy-friends. Since COVID hit our shores, it became impossible to host any of these outreaches.

Reaching Families

We are a group of mothers who regularly meet together to grow in our spiritual life, marriage and motherhood. Being the leader of this mother’s group, I always had the dream of reaching out to the family members of these group members.

Journey of Finding Faith

In 2017, I met C at a parenting seminar. During the participants’ sharing time, my fellow participants enjoyed listening to my sharing as they were amazed I have 5 children and wondered how I managed. That’s when I thought this could be an opportunity to share how God has been a big part of my parenting journey.
