Our tribe is proudly known as “Thrivers”. A thriver is proactive and courageous in seeking support and self-development in order to grow and power through life’s difficult periods and live a meaningful life.

We champion a support-seeking culture. We aim to reach out and connect with young persons who are going through mental and emotional challenges, and help them heal and overcome the stigma of mental illness and other forms of trauma.

    Empowered by advocacy

Every young person deserves to live their life to the fullest potential— happiness, personal goals, passion and purpose. But life doesn’t always have an easy trail. As vulnerable individuals, we grow up with unresolved issues that can hinder our ability to thrive, and which could be carried through adulthood.

ThriveSg wants you to know that there is no shame in seeking the support you need. We invite all young persons to discover our joyful tribe and experience a journey to learning, healing and empowerment through our transformational activities:

Sorting Burdens with the Help of ThriveSg

by Lim (@mentholhalle), 20, with her artworks inspired by her healing journey. Counselling helped me to process all the difficult emotions I felt as a child because of my grandmother’s dominant role in my life. I also learnt how to connect with my “inner child,” and soothe that part of me that was once very hurt. Reassuring the inner child helped me to realise I am capable of handling and moving on from such conflict. Over time, my “inner child” became less susceptible to such conflicts, and it also helped me to be less triggered emotionally whenever future conflict would occur.

    Obedience and our Mental Health

As Christians, the topic of mental health is made more complex because of our susceptibility to form biases and assumptions; for instance, that those struggling are “living in defeat” and not walking close with God, or that they can easily recover from their struggles if they “just believe”. The change begins in us...

    Learning To Feel Again

I sought counseling in March that year. It was then I began to heal. I learnt to get in touch with my emotions, feel, and listen to my inner child so that healing could take place.

How I learnt to Grieve & Heal from it

Thriver, Daisy*, sought counselling when she lost her beloved friend, Buttercup* who died by suicide. In this interview, she shares her counselling journey.
