Our name ThriveSg, is derived from “ThriveSignificantly.” We believe that everyone has the capacity to thrive significantly regardless of the mental or emotional challenges one may face.

The stigma of mental health issues has unfortunately kept many from getting the support they need for emotional healing and wellness. One of ThriveSg's mission is to champion a support-seeking culture to fight the stigma around mental health.

Those in our ThriveSg tribe are fondly known as “Thrivers."A thriver is proactive and courageous in seeking support and self-development in order to grow and thrive through life's challenges.

We are grateful to those who have courageously agreed to be part of our "#thisismystory" movement to help fight the mental health stigma by sharing their journeys on video! Check out these short videos /reels of some of our thrivers and be inspired by their stories of resilience!

May their stories encourage you that healing & growing in resilience is possible. We can reach out for the support we need, so that we may be empowered to thrive significantly in life!

ThriveSg seeks to create a safe space for you to tell your stories. We are here to listen because your stories matter, your journey matters. Your story is one of resilience regardless. You can submit a counselling request.

We will be taking a break during this holiday season. We will be back to serve you from 14 January 2025!  Any requests made during this period will only be followed up then.

Wishing you a Blessed Christmas & a Happy New Year!

Sorting Burdens with the Help of ThriveSg

by Lim (@mentholhalle), 20, with her artworks inspired by her healing journey. Counselling helped me to process all the difficult emotions I felt as a child because of my grandmother’s dominant role in my life. I also learnt how to connect with my “inner child,” and soothe that part of me that was once very hurt. Reassuring the inner child helped me to realise I am capable of handling and moving on from such conflict. Over time, my “inner child” became less susceptible to such conflicts, and it also helped me to be less triggered emotionally whenever future conflict would occur.

Obedience and our Mental Health

As Christians, the topic of mental health is made more complex because of our susceptibility to form biases and assumptions; for instance, that those struggling are “living in defeat” and not walking close with God, or that they can easily recover from their struggles if they “just believe”. The change begins in us...

Learning To Feel Again

I sought counseling in March that year. It was then I began to heal. I learnt to get in touch with my emotions, feel, and listen to my inner child so that healing could take place.
