A few days ago, we began the third 10-day segment of our 40-day journey together: a pathway to dependence.
We are on a grand journey to be face-to-face with the lover of our souls, Jesus Christ. We are seeking to be more intentional about drawing near to His heart. We are seeking to be more intentional about drawing near to His voice. Our Beloved is inviting us to a deeper place of dependence on Him.
A place of complete surrender, a place of abandonment, a place that causes us to say, like Moses, "unless you go with us, we will not go up from this place." That place is a place of dependence, a place of resting in Him. Now, let us seek to let the Word draw us into a place of total dependence upon Him.
John 14:16-17: "I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may be with you forever; that is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see Him or know Him, but you know Him because He abides with you and will be in you."
What has the Helper been revealing to you these past 25 days? How will you seek to walk in greater dependence upon Him as a result?
