The most profound contribution of Campus Crusade for Christ has been to successfully train and equip the saints to selflessly perform kingdom work in the modern world. The ministry has undoubtedly shaped several generations of Christian leaders throughout the world, individuals whose faith has given them the confidence to help others both publicly and privately. When I look at my own past, I go right back to those college program and retreats where I was nurtured, where I was built up and given the spiritual tools to take on a very different world.
Forever faithful -- I salute Campus Crusade for Christ, serving authentically and persistently as one of the premier tools throughout the modern world for spreading the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ. May your tribe increase!
Truly, Campus Crusade is one of the most significant ministries of our times-drawing, training and mobilizing people of all ages to evangelize the world and further the Kingdom of God. It is the privilege of Precept Ministries International to labor with them and beside them here and around the world in fulfilling the Great Commission.
Because of our love for university students and our desire to see awakening come to the campuses of the world, I am constantly amazed at the global influence Campus Crusade has for the cause of Christ's Kingdom. Campus Crusade for Christ's campus thrust remains the catalyst for much of the modern collegiate ministry movement and their broadcast of the Savior and His story is an inspiration to me and countless others.
There's nothing like Campus Crusade for Christ in the history of the Christian world.
God has used the ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ in my own life in several ways: I first was taught how to share my faith with others through Campus Crusade's ministry in the summer of 1967, when I was a freshman at Harvard. My wife became a Christian through the ministry of Campus Crusade at Wisconsin State University-Eau Claire in that same year. And our son Elliot, who is now a pastor, met his wife Kacey in the Campus Crusade ministry at Miami University of Ohio. As a seminary professor, I have taught many hundreds of Campus Crusade staff members, and I find them to be mature in their faith and strong in their whole-hearted commitment to Christ. As a couple, Margaret and I have found our marriage enriched through FamilyLife, a division of Campus Crusade. I thank God for all that He has done through this wonderful ministry.
Through our many years of ministry, the Palau team has always looked to Campus Crusade as a standard of excellence and innovation in evangelism. Their gifts in drawing together the Body of Christ, their creativity and use of the latest technologies, and their bold determination to reach the world with the Good News will always be an inspiration to those who pursue the Great Commission.
The worldwide impact of the Four Spiritual Laws or the JESUS film would, by themselves, represent an extraordinary contribution to evangelism. The vision and leadership of the Bill and Vonette Bright have taken the Good News to the world through innovation, creativity and bold determination. Thanks in large part to the extraordinary vision and action of Campus Crusade, the power and promise of the Gospel is being heard around the world.
