Cru is the name of Campus Crusade for Christ International in Trinidad and Tobago. Here is an overview of our international ministry.
We are a vibrant Christian organization serving the beautiful twin-island Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, situated in the south western end of the Caribbean. Our calling and purpose is to help fulfill the Great Commission by winning people to faith in Jesus Christ; building them in their faith; and sending them to win and build others.
Cru Trinidad and Tobago was established officially in 1983 as a non-governmental organization, under the name ‘Campus Crusade for Christ Trinidad & Tobago’ (CCC). The ministry started with church partnerships, followed by the birth of the student ministry at the University of The West Indies, St. Augustine campus. In 2011, the name ‘Cru’ was introduced as a part of an international rebranding effort of the organization to fully reflect the scope of the organization.
For 40 years, rooted in the values of faith, growth, and fruitfulness, we have been dedicated to spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ in Trinidad & Tobago and beyond. We aspire to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals, families and communities across the nation through different strategies. Leading from our values, we aim to help people live out a passionate walk with God; grow and develop holistically; and bear lasting fruit.
