Speaker Profile

We are pleased to introduce to you our speaker for the #GO Building Bridges series, Dr Alvin Tey!

After holding senior management roles in the public sector, two universities, and a global business consulting firm, Alvin joined Operation Mobilisation (OM) in 2014 and is currently serving as the Head of People and Organisational Development in OM East Asia.  He concurrently serves as a Resident Faculty of Intercultural Studies in the East Asia School of Theology (EAST).

Meet The Speaker

Alvin met his wife, Kalene, who also serves in OM, while studying in London School of Economics (LSE). With God's help, Alvin and Kalene overcame numerous trials in their marriage, including a miscarriage. They have a pair of twin daughters, Natalie and Charlotte, and a son, Josiah.

As the regional leader with OM in East Asia, Alvin works hard to establish vibrant communities of Jesus followers. It is a passion that burns in Alvin's heart to not only proclaim, but to demonstrate the transforming power of Christ to others.
