On a Hat Yai one year internship you will have the chance to build relationships with Thai students, most of whom have never heard the gospel or truly known a Christian. You’ll share the gospel on campus with individual friends you make in this religiously diverse area. You’ll also have the chance to build friendships through fun momentum-building events like parties, game nights and English Corners. You’ll have the opportunity to experience sharing Christ through your own story and other gospel tools! Best of all, you’ll have the chance to get to know and do ministry alongside Thai national staff, so that your investment bears fruit even after you go home!
You’ll also have the opportunity to experience the uniqueness of Thailand: beautiful hiking, night markets, Muslim mosques and Buddhist temples. You will be completely immersed in Thai culture: the food, the language, the weather, the housing… everything will be authentic! Your year will highlight the spiritual needs of Thailand, a country where less than 1% of the population is Christian.
