The Agape+ team in Barcelona delivered blankets, sleeping bags and clothing to forty-four homeless people with the help of 40 volunteers last December. Benji and Lidia. two Cru® team members, follow-up with the people they meet on the streets.

The couple recently found a woman they'd met before unconscious in an ATM. Lidia went into the ATM, sat down next to her and placed Magda's heavy head on her lap. It was clear she had been attacked. When Magda regained consciousness, she explained to Benji and Lidia that she had been beaten and threatened with death and the attackers warned they'd return soon to finish her off. Magda was in shock and tried to quench her pain with alcohol, which left her unable to move from the spot where she'd fallen. Lidia encouraged her to leave as soon as she could. She and Benji got Magda standing and prayed for her. She told them if it hadn't been for them, she knew she would've died. Magda found a new, safe place to sleep, where Benji and Lidia continue to visit her and and care for her!
