The tiny nation of Montenegro lies on the Adriatic coast, opposite Italy.
Once part of former communist Yugoslavia, this young country as of 2006 has a long Orthodox heritage,
with a growing Muslim minority. Some Montenegrins have genuine faith but many are Christian in
name only- still in need of understanding and responding to the Good News of Jesus Christ.
With only around 100 evangelical believers in a handful of churches,
Cru Montenegro seeks to introduce Montenegrins from all backgrounds to a
living relationship with Jesus through the church, initiative evangelism,
bible studies, and community outreach.
