THE HIGH SCHOOL MINISTRY OF CRU
Main Menu
The United Republic of Tanzania is the largest country in East Africa, located just south of the equator. It is larger than the state of Texas but smaller than Alaska. Tanzania has a hot and humid tropical climate with some cooler mountainous regions. It has the largest concentration of animals per square kilometer in the world, with more than four million wild animals. Tanzania has the tenth largest youth population globally. Sixty-six percent of Tanzanians are under the age of 25. Dodoma became the capital city in 1974 and is located in the center of Tanzania. It is a vibrant city, rich in history and natural beauty.
Join us in Dodoma for a great opportunity to connect with and befriend Tanzanian students. You will speak in classrooms, school assemblies, and outreaches, and connect with students in common areas. It will be a fun time sharing what it’s like to be a high school student in America and learn about Tanzanian culture. There will be time to follow up with new believers and come alongside in-country staff to help launch spiritual movements on campus.
On this mission, you will have the chance to help with special training for youth leaders in the area and partner with Unto to provide access to clean drinking water in this community. Join us to build relationships with Tanzanian students and share the life-changing message of the Gospel.
