High School Urban Internship

Every year, cities all over the world are growing larger and larger. People from various different social and ethnic contexts are moving into cities at a very fast rate creating very diverse communities. Experiencing ministry in a city environment could prepare you for ministry in almost any context.

What is it?

The Urban Internship is a 1 to 2 year experience doing urban ministry with the high school ministry of Cru. We launch spiritual movements on high school campuses with a focus on the inner city schools. This internship could give you a chance to develop your ability to make disciples in the inner city context.

What will I do?

It would be our desire that you would grow in your understanding and experience of the Gospel. You will experience sharing the Christian faith and discipling inner city youth on a team. This team will work together to see high school students better understand their faith so that they can share it with others on their campus and ultimately the world. You will likely be pushed out of your comfort zone, but you will be cared for very well in the process.

How much does it cost?

If you have a servant heart and want to be challenged in your faith by being on mission to reach high school students in one of our inner city locations, the high school ministry is a great place for you. All accepted interns will need to raise your funding. The amount you'd have to raise varies based on need.

Are you ready to serve a year in the city with the high school ministry of Cru?

Application deadline is March 1 for an internship starting in September.
