Get ready for the day

Set aside your usual routine and prepare for a day of prayer, worship and thanksgiving. A little preparation will help you give your full attention to prayer and the people joining you. Take care of the practical details before the day begins.

1

Make room to pray

Plan around your time zone and reserve the full two hours for the afternoon celebration. Protect that time as you would for an in-person event. Set aside your usual work and turn off notifications so you can participate fully.

2

Prepare your gathering

Gather your team at Northland Church in Longwood, Florida, or watch together around one screen. Confirm your meeting space and check the screen, audio and internet connection if your group will join online.

3

Invite your guests

Invite ministry partners, pastors and staff friends to the afternoon celebration. Send them this event page and confirm where and how you’ll meet. Share the invitation early so they can make plans to join you.

4

Lead your own prayer time

Join the morning livestream, or choose a time that works for your local gathering if the live times don’t fit. Review the prayer guides, videos, Scripture and prompts in the resources section below, and plan how you’ll use them with your group.

5

Add WWDP to your calendar

Add the sessions you’ll attend to Google Calendar, using the schedule above and your local time zone. Include this event page in the calendar invitation and share it with your supporters, students and others you’re inviting.

6

Confirm your RSVP

Cru staff: confirm your event RSVP on Staffweb. If you need lunch or childcare in Central Florida, complete the separate registration. See the registration section above for both actions and the deadlines.

A MOVEMENT ROOTED IN PRAYER

75 years of God's faithfulness.

Bill and Vonette Bright began this ministry in 1951 through the power of prayer. Twice a year, Cru staff around the world set aside a day to pray together. This October, we give thanks for what God has done and pray for the next 75 years.
